Emery and I get to share every day together as she continues to grow into a toddler.  I couldn't be more excited to be a full time mom to her.  Today is the first day of our new life, and I am so happy.  Thank you to Tim for all you hard work as a dad to allow this opportunity.  Emery and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  We love you!

Time is just flying by....

Our little love bug is 5 months old already!

She is very close to sitting up on her own, and can do it for a little while before tipping over.  She has a good amount of weight to throw around, so when she gets leaning, she topples fast!

Baptism

Last weekend Emery was baptized at St. Alberts Church.  Emery wore Grandma Nehmer's baptismal gown which was also then worn by Casey and mommy.  If mommy fit in it as a child, I knew Emery would too!  We were surrounded by family and our faith community for this special event.  She was one of 4 to be baptized at the mass.  She did great, not a peep out of her during church, and just loved the water being poured over her head after mass.  We are so blessed for her to have such amazing god parents, in Uncle Matt & Aunt Casey.  Thanks for taking on this challenge with open arms, and full of love.

Reading Cars

Friday, Emery and I were home to help watch Cousins Brooks and Brody since Casey was away on business.  As soon as Emery got up from her morning snooze, the boys were interested in her beyond belief.  While I was making her bottle, they entertained her with "The Cars" book that made noise.  They are always such good helpers with Emery!

Brody loves throwing away her dirty diapers for me, and Brooks loves to give her kisses and bring her toys to play with.  Emery is so lucky to have such great older cousins!  P.S.  Not too long and she will be bigger than both of you....better watch out!



I'm getting so big!

I am getting so big, and growing more every day.  I am so close to holding my own bottle...but sometimes the 6 ounces it a little heavy to hold.

Fun Post...

Mommy got to adventure to Tanger with the girls recently and came home with some great deals for Em...of course.  She scored a winter hat for next year, and a cute pair of sun glasses for this summer on the boat.  It was time to model for us!
