Hurry up SUMMER!

We have been enjoying some weekends at the lake already, just getting things ready for summer.  The pier is now in and the boat will be in soon.  A new deck is being put on the front of the place, and many family dinners and laughs will be had on it this year. 

Emery is getting used to napping at the lake so that is good practice for what is to come.  Her and those two crazy cousins will be running the place this summer.   Emery was testing out the play room, and I couldn't resist putting the elephant hat on her head....she didn't mind one bit and played on.  That's my girl!

A task that needed to be done this last trip was to try on her swim suits to see what would fit for this summer and for me to make sure we were ready for the sun!  Here are a few pics from our fashion show! :)  (don't mind the socks)

All in all we have a few that will work this summer and so my goal was accomplished!  She also has a pair of aqua socks to be just like Grandpa N. 

She will be one cute babe on the sandbar this summer!

7 Months!

Can you believe it??  Emery has grown to be 7 months old, and continues to make us smile each and every day, with her new tricks, giggles, and endless smiles.   A few fun photos to share. 

Her love for bananas continues to grow...if you are eating one in front of her she gets mad if you don't share!

Daddy was thrilled with this photo, as she has already mastered palming the ball.  He says now we will work on dribbling and her cross over....

Her new love is ripping apart anything you give her.  So old magazines end up in her hands for some fun.  Just have to watch so she doesn't eat the paper....right Holly?!?!?

She can sit up on her own no problem now, rolls over constantly but cannot get from her belly to her back yet. Only has rolled over twice in her crib but never sleeping on her tummy yet.  We look forward to what the next month will bring...maybe crawling?  You can do it girlfriend!!!



Happy Easter!

Happy Easter from our little bunny!

We spent Easter in the morning with those crazy cousins having an Easter egg hunt at the lake.  Emery got some fun goodies from G & G Nehmer, and found a few eggs in the yard.  Will be fun to see them all run next year to get them!

We then traveled up to spend the rest of the day with G & G Freischmidt.  Emery got a sand pail full of goodies.  We had lunch and then headed back home. 

Was a great Easter, and we look forward to having more Easter egg hunts! :)

Lots of updates....

Lots to update from this past month....been a little crazy in our lives.

We played at the water park while the boys were gone on their golf trip in March.

We typed emails to dad while he was at work

We went for walks in the double stroller.

We had some fun being silly

6 Month Stats

Still growing like a weed....just not at as fast of a pace.

 19 pounds 13 ounces

27 3/4 inches long

Her growth curve has her still above the 95th percentile for both height and weight, but she is actually back on the charts from her 4 month check up! 

Doctor said she is happy and healthy, and that is what matters most!
